Torhild Shirley, AG® has over 30 years experience in genealogical research, specializing in Scandinavian research, covering Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. She is the president of Scandinavian Family Research Services, which can be found at Scandinavianfamily.com.
Throughout her career, Torhild has dedicated nearly 15 years to serving as a Family History Consultant in her church. She is an accredited professional genealogist through the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen™).
Born in Norway, Torhild is fluent in Norwegian and has a strong command of Swedish and Danish. Her combination of linguistic skills, cultural knowledge, and academic background makes her a valuable researcher and educator of Scandinavian genealogy.
